The DCJCC and DC Minyan bring you a

DC Beit Midrash
House of Study

The Beit Midrash meets every Monday night from 7:00pm-9pm, at the DC JCC.

In the seminal text of the Jewish oral tradition, the Mishna, the sage, Shammai, admonishes: "set a fixed time for your study of Torah" (Pirkei Avot, 1:15). The DC Beit Midrash is a great opportunity to make Jewish learning a part of your regular schedule.

  • If you have been wanting to incorporate Jewish study into your life, here's a way! We invite you to engage directly with traditional Jewish texts in the company of a thoughtful, energetic community.
  • Refreshments are available, and individuals are on hand to help with texts and answer questions.

This program is free and open to the public: individuals at all levels are welcome.

For more information, see About us! or email Ilana Goldberg and Charles Koppelman at info@dcbeitmidrash.org
