Help Support the DownTown Eruv

HELP SUPPORT THE DOWNTOWN DC ERUV

Thanks to the previous support from DC Minyan, Rosh Pina, and Kesher Israel, the Rabbi Philip Rabinowitz Memorial Eruv continues to serve the downtown Washington, DC Jewish community and countless tourists and guests. Maintenance of the eruv is time consuming and costly. Every year, more than $3,000 is spent repairing different sections of the eruv that break because of age and bad weather. In addition, we have numerous volunteers on rotation each week checking to make sure the eruv is still up and functioning.

Kesher Israel, Rosh Pina, and DC Minyan all believe that taking care of the eruv is a true communal responsibility as the eruv doesn't belong to just one organization or one shul. It belongs to all of us, and it is our combined responsibility to make sure it continues to function and serve the needs of our Jewish community.

The eruv fund is severely under budget. Please consider a gift of $25, $50, or $75 to ensure that funds are available to sustain the eruv in our community.

If you are a member of DC Minyan, please remember to log in to your ShulCloud account before submitting your donation.
