12:00 PM - 2:00 PMEDCJCCPlease join DC Minyan for a lunch and learn to discuss disability inclusion within the Jewish community and Jewish practice on Saturday, December 7th. After hearing a brief introduction from Rabbi Lauren Tuchman and Liz Weintraub, the majority of our time will be spent in interactive discussion about how we can ensure that successful practices and policies are in place so all members are valued and able to participate fully in our vibrant community, regardless of ability.
Rabbi Lauren Tuchman is the rabbi for the DC Avodah Service corps and teaches adult education classes throughout the area.
Liz Weintraub is the senior advocacy specialist for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities, and a long-time advocate for people with disabilities.
The lunch costs $12 for DC Minyan members and $15 for non-members. Children ages 3-12 cost $5 and children under 3 are free. Sign ups for babysitting are now closed.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
