Sponsorship
kiddush and oneg Sponsorship
DC Minyan is proud to serve an exciting kiddush spread after most Saturday morning services and on certain chaggim. As a lay-led community, we appreciate any community sponsorship of these kiddushes. You can sponsor in honor of a family or life event, in memory of a loved one, or for no reason at all!
[COVID UPDATE: August 2022] As our Minyan gets vaccinated and public health restrictions are lifted, we are able to provide more kiddush options! We are slowly returning to "regular" kiddushes and always welcome additional helpers to make them happen. A regular kiddush sponsorship costs $200 and you can specify special snacks or drinks you want included!
You can supplement a regular kiddush with catered baked goods or cold food from local kosher bakeries, including Baked by Yael and Sunflower Bakery. Please email kiddush@dcminyan.org for those options and select "Other" from the menu below, or if you have other ideas that we can work with you on. We will continue to review our capabilities as facility and public health conditions allow.
To sponsor an upcoming kiddush (or oneg, for a Friday night service), please fill out the form below. You must be logged in to view the form.

Volunteer
As part of our continuing effort to maintain a strong and vibrant lay led community, we encourage our members to sign up to volunteer this coming year in some capacity, including volunteering to host new members and other hospitality guests, greeting on Shabbat, planning or volunteering at one of our events during the year, davening, leyning, or setting up/cleaning up Kiddush.
