CHINUCH PROGRAMMING
This year we are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Will Friedman and Rabbi Sarah Mulhern as our scholars-in-residence. Rabbi Friedman is a doctoral candidate in Ancient Judaism at Harvard University, writing on Legal Reasoning in Early Rabbinic Law, and a David Hartman Center Graduate Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. In 2016 he received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Daniel Landes, former director and rosh yeshivah of Pardes. He has learned at and taught for a broad spectrum of Jewish learning institutions, including JTS, Hebrew College, and Pardes Institute. Rabbi Mulhern is the Manager of Rabbinic and Lay Education for Shalom Hatman Institute of North America. She was ordained by the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College and received private rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Daniel Landes. She was also a member of the first cohort of the David Hartman Center Fellowship, earned a Masters in Jewish Education from Hebrew College, and has worked in Jewish Education at the American Jewish World Service. Rabbis Friedman and Mulhern live in Riverdale with their daughter Liana.
Once again, we’ll be hosting a night of learning as part of the Shavuot retreat. If you would like to teach a Shiur as part of the Tikkun, please contact our Chinuch Coordinator Annie Dreazen at chinuch@
