Pricing per person based on room assignment is as follows:

The prices below are per person based on room assignments and include two nights of lodging, all food, drinks, and activities. You are responsible for transportation to and from the venue. Out of transparency for retreat pricing: Non-Member prices cover retreat costs and Member costs include a DC Minyan subsidy.

Note: You may pay the full amount during registration or in installments. If cost is a concern, please contact programming@dcminyan.org. All conversations are strictly confidential. 

 Housing Information

Shabbaton registration and room selection is first-come, first-serve and closes on Monday, February 10th at 11:59 PM or once all spots are filled. There are three different housing layouts:
  • Hotel Room:
    • 1 queen bed | private bathroom
    • Accommodates 2 adults 
    • Full Adult Rate
  • Lodge Room: 
    • 2 queen beds, 1 sleeper loveseat | private bathroom 
    • Accommodates 2 adults (minimum), plus up to 3 additional adults and/or children
    • Full Adult Rate if 2 adults in a room. Reduced Adult Rate if 3+ people (including children over two) in a room. 
  • Dormitory Suite: 
    • 2-6 twin beds per room | shared bathroom 
    • Accommodates 1 individual per bed. (You can request roommates or register by yourself. We will do our best to put mutual requests together)
    • Reduced Adult Rate 
  • Kid's Dorm Room
    • If sufficient interest, we will open rooms for children in fourth grade or older with other similarly-aged children of the same gender - to be housed separately from their families - in a Dormitory Suite.
    • Certain adults in this lodge would be designated as nighttime points of contact (think college RAs).
    • Express interest in the housing comments.

Note: Nonmember guests of members should pay the nonmember rate. If you are a member registering nonmembers with you please select the nonmember rates for them.

   Adult ($385) - Standard Rate
   Adult ($330) - Reduced Rate (Reduced rate is included when sharing a room with two or more additional adults or for adults registering with children)

As a lay-led community, DC Minyan is successful only because of the efforts of its members. We ask each adult participant to sign up for one (or more) of the opportunities below.

In what ways are you interested in helping with the retreat? (You can check items if they apply to anyone in your group. The retreat organizers will follow up and you can give them specific names.)

SPONSORSHIP: New this year!

In an effort to keep the Shabbaton financially accessible, we are introducing a sponsorship option. We hope this will give more community members the opportunity to attend the Shabbaton by expanding our ability to subsidize costs for those who need it.

You can request to sponsor anything you want (feel free to get creative)! If you choose to sponsor something, the Shabbaton planning committee will be in touch to discuss what you'd like to see in the program you are supporting.

Suggested contributions:
  • Sponsor a program of your choosing: $36
  • Sponsor a bottle at the fabrengen: $50
  • Sponsor one round of announcements: $18
You may also donate any amount to support scholarships for members who require financial assistance to attend the Shabbaton, or to support the Shabbaton however needed.
