high holiday Helpers

It takes a village to make the High Holidays happens. From getting the machzors to our venue to ark guard and page flipper duties during the services, there are many ways attendees can help!

If you can help, please sign up for volunteers spots for:

To help ahead of time (moving machzors, building the sukkah, etc), please add your name to this spreadsheet (3 tabs).

To help day-of (ark guard, page flipper, machzor collection, chair set up, etc), please add your name to this spreadsheet (2 tabs).

Hospitality

If you would like to open your home to a guest for a meal this Rosh Hashanah, or if you would like to be matched up at a community member's holiday meal, please email Eliana Fishman at hospitality@dcminyan.org and she will be happy to match you up with someone.

High Holiday Volunteer Opportunities with DC Minyan Kids

We are looking for volunteers to run kids programming during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. If you're willing to help out, please let us know at parents@dcminyan.org -- we'll make sure you have the support you need. If you don't feel like you can lead a service, but have resources that can be helpful or have babysitters you know and trust, please let us know as well!

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A PARENT TO BE GREAT AT THIS JOB!
